Museum-worthy Picasso
Repatriated from the Caracas Museum of Contemporary Art where it had been on loan. There is a museum “key” seal and a museum certificate of authenticity verso signed by Sofia Imber herself attached verso. There are also two signed Picasso sketches attached verso. It is not know why the sketches were attached, perhaps during the repatriation, but they might be able to be professionally removed and displayed separately. There is also an illegible Mathias Fels certificate attached to the back indicating that at some point it may have passed through his gallery or been authenticated by him. This would make a noteworthy museum donation. Full possession with an investor holding a minority interest until it can be forensically examined and sold by Sotheby’s is possible. Inquire.
