Consigned Caracas Picasso #3

This is a large and impressive Picasso oil on canvas from the collection of a prominent Venezuelan family. This is a painting from his cubist period. The detail of this museum-worthy piece is exquisite and it is instantly recognizable as a Picasso. This painting is now in the United States and available for immediate delivery. There are two significant certificates attached verso. One is from Mathias Fels Gallery suggesting that they sold it. That is significant because Mathias Fels was known to have handled Picasso’s paintings and was a leading art authenticator. The other certificate is a certificate of authenticity issued by Sophia Imber the founder and director of the Caracas Museum of Contemporary Art where this painting was on loan from the family for exhibitions.
