Excellent Henri Martin landscape

This is a museum-worthy Henri Martin oil. There is a significant Eugene Victor Thaw gallery certificate verso identifying it as a Martin. There is also a Nazi WWII stamp verso indicating it was seized during the war and returned to its owners or their heirs after the war. It does not appear on any register of missing or stolen art which suggests it was then sold to help finance the owner’s efforts to emigrate or rebuild.
