Museum-worthy 1896 Pablo Picasso Oil

This almost certainly authentic early Picasso oil is from the period prior to his move to Paris. It and others were sold by wealthy Venezuelan family to help pay to relocate to the United States. It is more than likely that the women are members of Picasso’s immediate family. There is a Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas key attached verso suggesting it had been displayed there as well as a numbered Bedel & Cie Garde Meuble certificate. This painting impresses and would make both a great conversation piece and a subsequent donation to your local museum or heirs. An investor is willing to take forty percent and allow the principal buyer to have full possession if the principal buyer will have it forensically analyzed and sold at auction when Sotheby’s and Christie’s begin accepting forensics results in lieu of perfect provenances. There is a COA valuing it.
